We have a phishing scam again. Members if you have any strange calls or unexplained electronic fraud please let a member of admin know, and contact local law enforcement. The number is listed below. Thank you kindly. *Admin if you cannot see any post on their page dont add them please! If profile photos look model - ish theyre likely phishing from a catfish account. If they have no friends in common, at least 2 or 3, dont add them. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of an account just delete the request. If they are legitimate theyll email someone and keep requesting. If you notice phishers trying to repeatedly request let other admin know please so they arent accidentally added. Dont hesitate to block the phishers instead of deleting the request if need be. Please take defensive actions, we are responsible for the safety of our users on here and the scams are getting more sophisticated in hijacking host phones. These account holders can access ALL info on your entire PHONE, not just facebook and do serious damage!!! One user had their phone used as a host phone for a phisher and his fathers SSI & SSDI stolen and he was unable to recover the funds putting his family without income for an entire month. That money was lost forever, hes lucky the bank and creditors worked with him. We also have members getting calls saying they have warrants and they have to pay asap or face jail time which isnt how YPD or LCSO handle warrants. If you have an active warrant they find you and handle it, they dont call you and let you pay. If you get either of these situations you need to contact local law enforcement asap!
