We have a position with our direct client for a Senior Business Analyst Position: Business Analyst Duration: 6-8 months Location: Minneapolis, MN Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed: · Develop and document the Business Analysis process and methodology, as part of the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). · Conduct business process analysis as required and document for the project teams. · Define and direct scope management processes and controls. · Plan and conduct Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) sessions with project stakeholders, as a best practice to quickly gather all business requirements. · Capture all system requirements and ensure they are documented and included in the Business Requirements Documents. · Obtain approval from project’s Business Sponsor and key stakeholders on the business requirements and scope on all assigned projects. · Perform the BA function on assigned projects, including the development of the Project Definition Document (PDD) and the Business Requirement Documents ( BRD’s) and all associated work products. · Work closely with the Architects and Designers by reviewing BRD’s with them for feedback, to ensure these groups fully understand the business requirements so they can design and deliver the best technical solution. · Work closely with the Quality Assurance group by reviewing all BRD’s with them for feedback, to ensure the business requirements are testable. · Incorporate feedback received from the business stakeholders, as well as the project team architects, designers, developers and quality assurance resources, to ensure completeness, understanding and buy in from all project stakeholders. · Ensure knowledge transfer is an ongoing activity, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition · Participate in writing project and program level change requests. · Takes work direction from the Lead BA. · Provides Lead BA and Project Manager with regular and timely status of all activities being working on. · Perform other duties as assigned.
