We have a question from Margaret on our wall and we hoped some of our farmers may be able to help her out...... I am working on a project comparing farm-gate prices and retail prices for vegetables over time, and would like to know what sort of prices vegetable farmers get paid for their produce these days as compared with when they first started farming. Also how do those farm gate prices compare with the retail prices for vegetables now compared with the prices (farm gate and retail) in days gone by? Thanks. I appreciate your assistance in this.
