We have a question furiends and followfurs!! So Momma Momma, being the silly Momma Momma that she is, has mapped out all of the craft sales month-by-month to keep up on which fabrics and craft supplies go on sale and when. Its actually pretty easy to do. Anywho, we got felt-by-the-yard first, and Momma Momma has set a goal of crafting one stocking per month in order to have all of our corgi stockings ready to go by years end to make sure that theyre ready to go for our corgi rescues 2015 year-end celebration. We always make some sort of gift for our fellow volunteers - in past years weve done Memorial Photo frames, rescue jewelry and key chains, and Corgi-on-Stilts-Eating-Pies hanging embroidery and have settled on stockings this year. The reason shes doing one-a-month is so that she doesnt procrastinate till the end AND so she doesnt burn out doing them all in October and November. :) Momma Momma is sketching out her ideas and starting the first stocking on Monday, but we may post some sketches for a poll. Our sketches - very rough and not ready to share just yet! - so far include two small cogwn on a stocking with sheep and flowers, a group of embroidered corgwn in many color types, a corgi on a candy cane-striped bone, and a corgi climbing through a wreath. Were not asking about picking just yet, but want our furiends opinions on one big decision: Should we make 12 pretty identical stockings, with the only changes reflecting our fellow workers individual pups (like a cardi Merle on Ms. Sarahs vs. a fawn pem on Mr. Bills, for example), or should we make different designs on each of the 12 we need? I really like the idea of 12 different stockings, but then Im afraid someone will wish they had gotten a different one than they got and have their feelings hurt. We want these gifts to bring joy, not jealousy and hurt feelings! What do you guys think? 12 of one design, or several different designs? Thanks guys! You always have the best ideas!
