We have a short gap fill about the Eurovision on our placement test. Today, a 20 year old from Geneva asked me what the Eurovision was! I was dumbfounded. I asked him had he heard of Conchita? No he hadnt. I reminded him that Celine Dion represented Switzerland in the late 90s ... But he was just a baby then. He seemed incredulous that such a competitions should exist. It is kind of and when you try to explain it.
