We have all seen the effect of one cheerful person has upon a room - TopicsExpress

We have all seen the effect of one cheerful person has upon a room full of people who are disposed to be rather gloomy. It is like a stream of sunshine in a dark room. And we have also seen one gloomy countenance throw a shadow over a number of people and cause a feeling of depression. These states of mind are quickly transmitted and they are illustrations of the power of thought being transferred from one to another. How one malicious, revengeful person can affect others by talking, carrying the venom of his disposition in his words and manner even to the extend of making them ill, so potent is this mental influence. If these are the effects of the untrue condition of though and word, how powerful the true word must be, and is. True words teach us of our wisdom as Spirit-one with all wisdom-for understanding is wisdom from on high, shining upon us and through us and from us, without measure. True words disclose to us that we are one with all power for they heal and bless as has been declared, the tongue of the wise is health. To speak truth is to shine with spirituality, to glow with power, to be clear of perception and to show forth the glory of understanding, for the entrance of thy words giveth light. to speak truth is to be God-like.
