We have always lived in the country so we never had to deal with trick or treaters on Halloween. Two years ago we moved to the city because of health reasons for my husband. Last Halloween he was in the hospital so once again I didnt have the kids trick or treating. This year I am excited to see the kids and living in a big neighborhood we should have a lot. My question is how do you guys deal with all of the knocks at the door. As Doxi parents you know how neurotic they get when someone knocks. My husband was paralyzed in an accident. He doesnt like when they bark for to long. Having 4 Doxies I know there is going to be a lot of barking lol I dont want to pretend we are not home because I want to see all the little kids and their costumes. Does anyone have any advise on this?
