We have always tried to keep this page as something that honours Nathan in the most respectful way possible, but when individuals go out of their way to ruin that, we absolutely WILL address it here. Not to create drama, but to set the record straight and let all of you know whats going on. That being said, it both saddens and angers us that any of this even has to be addressed in the first place, as it takes away from what this page is really supposed to be about, and thats Nathan. We were informed by Facebook this evening that the same individual whom has been attacking us, the Cirillo family, the Argylls (the same individual making claims that the TD trust set up for Marcus is a scam), is now trying to get THIS page shut down by reporting the posts, photos, etc. that you have all contributed in memory of Nathan as spam. Because of this, some of the content shared by some of you had to be removed. Unfortunately anyone can file a false report with Facebook and report anything as spam, so this is something that was beyond our control. It is evident that this individual will stop at nothing, and it is quite sad that someone has nothing better to do with their time but to ruin something that was meant to preserve the memory of someone lost, all because of a personal vendetta they have. Granted, it was only a few posts that were reported, but a few too many. Especially when said posts were beautiful ways that some of you have memorized this soldier. Our 3 administrators have also been on the receiving end of harassing private messages on their personal accounts from this same individual and others hiding behind pseudonyms. So we will just say this: If any of you are unhappy with the content here, no one is forcing you to remain a member of this page. We absolutely realize that this page has gone off track in recent days and that is in no way what we wanted. However, not liking how something is run doesnt give ANY of you the right to privately message the admins of this page telling us how to operate it, threatening us, etc., and anyone who does that will not only be automatically banned from this page, but your name will be given to authorities and reported for harassment. None of the administrators here have ever managed a page this large and with so many members, and were trying to do our best, but we have, unfortunately, discovered that there will always be someone who is unhappy with the way things are done, not just with this page, but with any Facebook page in general. That being said, because of the extremes that this individual is going to, we have taken the extra step of creating a CLOSED group that you can join (should you choose to) where you can also post photos, messages of condolence, etc. It will also be easier for us to moderate and no internet trolls, so to speak, will be able to slip through the cracks.
