We have an answer to prayer! After a visit to the chiropractor yesterday, we had a massive diaper followed by another today!!! Thanks for praying for Abbie in this way. Today she had a check up at her regular pediatrician and all is well. Her hives are going down. She also had an eye exam because the new med shes on can cause partial blindness. We found out that in a year or so she will be extra cute in glasses! They said it has nothing to do with her seizures or her med. Its just something she would have needed anyways. Oh! I get chills when I think how extra cute shell be! Friday is her big day! Shell get to see the IS specialist for the first time!!! We are all very excited to hear what he has to say. Shell have a 2 hour EEG and then a consultation with him afterward. We will then be able to make a plan of action after that. Lately she has been chewing with her mouth closed. Some kids have seizures that look like that, but we dont think thats the case with Abbie since she can be roused. Tonight she did it while I had her in the tub (she was actually falling asleep while I did her hair), so I stuck my finger in her mouth to see what exactly she was doing in there. I think she was trying to suck!!! It was very sloppy and uncoordinated, but Im guessing that is what she was trying to do. If this is the case, we might be able to try a pacifier again which can lead to FOOD BY MOUTH! Ok, Ill try not to get too excited. But God can do anything!
