We have an update on Ranger, the little shelter dog with the injured leg. He made it through the surgery just fine and is resting comfortably. He will be monitored through the night and will receive a couple of doses of pain medicine to keep him comfortable. In the morning, he will be started on oral pain meds and oral antibiotics. If all goes well, he could be released from the hospital as early as tomorrow. The vet had indication that Ranger had not used that leg in quite some time, so he should adjust easily to life as a Tripawed. Thank you all again for your part in Rangers story.
