Total Yrs. of Experience:Overall experience of 5-8 Years preferably with Service, or, IT, or ITeS/BPO industry Functional & Mandatory Skills: • Knowledge of networking. • Knowledge of O/S maintenance. • H/W maintenance, Desktop Management. • Data backup and management. • E-mail server configuration, Sonic wall configuration. • Must have worked on NETWORKING & SERVER level. • Good exposure in O/S Windows VISTA, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Apple OSX, Programming software. • Sound knowledge of systems processes related to Data security, backup & restoration. Exposure in handling of assignment of rights & permissions to respective files & folders. Managing Group Policy, File Security and Access Control. • Good exposure in handling installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of SQL Servers & LAN. • Good exposure in configuration, maintenance & troubleshooting of branded desktops, laptops & peripheral devices. • Exposure in Vendor Management. • ISO Quality Management System. • Exposure in technical enhancements. Job Description: • Managing technical risks, identify additional technical enhancements, proposals and manage phase reviews. • Should work pro-actively with the Operations Manager to provide effective trouble free technical solution and to ensure no technical downtime. • Managing installation, configuration & troubleshooting of SQL servers, and Maintenance and troubleshooting of Network (LAN). • Configuring Information Outlets and crimping for Local Area Network. Managing servers patches & cables structuring. • Managing user jobs, disks space, Power on & off, Backup & restoration. Maintaining production related data and users data. • Monitoring network traffic, internet bandwith. • Vendor Management – Registration, coordination & evaluation. • Planning for S/w and H/W and N/W upgrades as per requirement, Vendor co-ordination. • Managing Configuration & Troubleshooting of branded Desktops & Laptops like IBM, HP, Dell, Compaq, Acer etc. • Assignment of rights & permissions to respective files & folders. Managing Group Policy, File Security and Access Control. • Software installation & trouble shooting of MS-Exchange Client & O/S: Windows Vista, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Programming Software, Apple OSX. • Managing IT Infrastructure Support Group. • Managing Help Desk System. • Managing installation & troubleshooting of packages like, Antivirus, Browsers & MS-Office etc; Configuration of user name & mailbox, etc. • Managing installation, configuration, maintenance & troubleshooting of all Network, Hardware, & Peripheral devices (scanner, printer, copier, plotter, web-cams, network printer etc) & UPS. • Documentation as per Quality Management System (ISO Compliance). • Responsible for KRA Performance Management of the department & team. • • Responsible for Management Reporting (daily & monthly).
