We have arrangements for Chee Chees Funeral Service. In keeping with her wishes, she will have a Graveside Service, on Thursday. October 9, 2014, at 3 PM in the Edinburg Cemetery (Next to the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church In Edinburg). Sarah Eva Perry, 92, of Madison, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2014, She had been hospitalized after a brief Illness at Saint Dominic’s Hospital. Eva as she was known to most people (Chee Chee to many family members) was born September 16, 1922 in Edinburg, Mississippi. After graduating high school, she moved to Jackson and began her career as a Professional Executive Assistant. She worked her way to the Mississippi Department of Health where she worked for numerous Doctors and a Administrators with 32 years of service before retiring in 1984. She was a Christian and a long-time Member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Mary Perry, her brother; J.D. Perry, Sister; Johnnie Perry Waggener (husband Dennis). She is survived by her Sister-in-law Beth Perry of Flowood, Mississippi, nephews; Dennis Waggener, Jr (Ridgeland), Charles Waggener (Madison), Carl Perry (Flowood), Greg Perry (Texas), Perry Waggener (Madison) & Kent Perry (Atlanta) and many beloved great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, at the Edinburg Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home in Carthage, MS is handling the arrangements.
