We have asked the Gadimai Temple Committee to set up a shelter for the buffaloes that were spared from being slaughtered. They have collected 8 buffaloes so far and have been taking care of them. We will work together with them in creating a long-term shelter for the poor babies that have witnessed the biggest horror of their lives. Our plan is to create an example by working together with the same people who were responsible for the slaughtering of the thousands of buffaloes. Our plan is to make them realize that the real DHARMA is to respect and love all the life forms. They have already agreed not to participate in the January 14th sacrifice where the animals that couldnt be sacrificed at the festival will be brought again for slaughtering. Moreover, they have been working with us to stop the Jan 14 sacrifices. Hopefully, this collaboration will lead us in being able to get the next festival to be a bloodless declared by the Temple Committee, soon enough. It is definitely not easy for us to join hands with the same people who organized the killing of thousands but our wisdom lies in spitting anger and rage and working together with difficult people and changing their mindset and transform them for a greater good. We have faith in humanity and we shall overcome all the evil. Thank you all for your continued support and your support is more important now and will mean even more for the animals.
