We have been campers for 5 days! Just bought a caravan to drive across australia. Still in driveway as someone is coming to lengthen safety chain. D shackles cannot be joined to lengthen chain and the d shackle given is not rated heavy enough. Big learning curve this camping thing :) best advice so far ( except for the safety thing ) is get a book called camps 7! Its brilliant for free camping aust wide. Any great tips you got to help us out please. Oh and we are jumping in deep end with a toddler and a dog! And doing the nullabor links.
