We have been contacted about the issue of wreckless parking when people are collecting children from schools in Ingleby Barwick. It is an offence to park on the yellow school zone lines, punishable by a fine of £70, the lines are placed at schools to ensure children can cross the road safely to get to and from school, rather than cross between 2 parked cars, which is much more dangerous. Parking enforcement officers will continue to do on-the-spot checks of ALL Ingleby Barwick schools on a regular basis. ****PLEASE think how you would feel if your child was ran over and the fault lay with an illegally parked car!***
