We have been informed that at No 3 Jalan Lengkok Sembawang, acts of animal cruelty have been going on, especially to stray cats. Owners disallowed feeders to feed the strays, called police to ambush feeders, placed rat glues on rooftop, trapped and surrendered cats to AVA and food for the strays were found smelling of kerosene and insecticide etc. Cats have also gone missing in this area overnight. What should the feeders do? They have been holding and pushing on, one day at a time, been hurled at with abusive language, just to make sure the cats are fed with their only meal for the day. Authorities are unable to do anything, so what else can be done then to improve the situation. Yes, maybe the owners are rich material-wise, staying in a landed property and own a fancy house, but their minds are narrow, hearts are black, and hands tainted with blood. Is there really no justice?
