We have been looking in the book of Proverbs at the wise man and the wicked man. We continue today to look at the wicked. The wicked man has some characteristics that God hates. Keep in mind if we are walking with God we will love what he loves and hate what He hates. Let me quickly say it is the SIN God hates and not the sinner. God hates in the wicked man the heart that devises wicked schemes. Prov. 6:18 "...An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations." I never cease to be amazed and disgusted how man can devise such wicked things. At times they take innocent things and pervert them for sinful use. The imagination is the womb out of which either good or evil thins are born. The imagination must be cleansed and kept pure by the Lord. Only the Lord can change a heart and its motives. Paul said if there be any praise or worship THINK on these things. May we guard our thoughts and imaginations today and give them all to the Glory of God!
