We have been making great progress on the new facility! Our project manager has framed in the walls for one play area, the vet room and the food storage room. He has sheet rocked most of the walls in the main warehouse. It looks great! We have completed the demolition of the bathroom in the third warehouse bay and we are cleaning the floor to prep for sealing. The electricians are coming this week!!! Still to come - we have to get our wastewater permit. We will be having some soil tests done soon. We meet with the town zoning on 9/23 to go over our application and get feedback on any alterations required. The costs for the wastewater permit are uncertain. It depends on whether we need to supplement the septic system. The electrical fixtures and materials will cost over $8000 and the fencing at least $10,000. We have had great luck in finding excellent deals on tiles, doors and other building materials and donations of skilled labor. We have raised our goal to make the new location a showcase for our pups! Please help!
