We have been moved out of CICU to the regular cardiac floor and - TopicsExpress

We have been moved out of CICU to the regular cardiac floor and are no longer in isolation, which means Adam can roam the hospital as he pleases. They have placed a subclavian central line and he is doing well with it. He wanted points added to his man card so he had them put it in with only a local anesthetic instead of sedation. They were quite impressed by this. (I left the room for the procedure.) They say it may take up to two weeks to get him listed as a 1A and that he might even get to leave the hospital but would need to stay here locally. For now we have a nice big room without a roommate and a great view of Forest Park. Hopefully we will know more tomorrow about what the plan is.
