We have been so busy that Jon and I have hardly had time for each other. When things finally stopped tonight. Jon said get in the car. I said where are we going? He took me for frozen yogurt. We have not done that in ages. On the way home as I was enjoying my yogurt, I could not help thinking of Jons dad. Papa / Mr Joe loved ice cream. He preferred soft serve. He would microwave his ice cream to soften it. Sweet memories. He used to tell me that he could not afford ice cream growing up so if he wanted ice cream he was going to have it and enjoy it. I miss him. He lived me like a daughter and he loved my children to the moon and back. What a gift from Hod to experience that Love. Jon Etheridge Dc
