We have been very busy at WTL the past 2 days. #158 apparently ran into something night before last and is limping and injured her jaw to the point she could not suck yesterday morning. She did eat last night and this morning but is eating gingerly. Also the quail have stopped hatching so we have opened all the eggs that were left. Most were only yoke or yuck but 3 had quail that had attempted but not succeeded in getting out. Now the incubator is the CQU (Critical Quail Unit).They are doing surprisingly well and we anticipate putting them in the brooder soon with the other chicks.
