We have been very busy getting ready for the GFIA Conference where we will be working on food solutions for the UAE and Africa. From the GFIA The USA Sustainable Agriculture Group at the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture Definition: The USA Sustainable Agriculture Group is a US-led group of global experts in the field of sustainable agriculture with a particular focus on Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). The group will provide a channel for highly qualified innovators and solution providers in the US (including overseas partners) to meet with both food producers and policy makers at GFIA - the aim being to provide solutions for the development of long term sustainable and resilient food production in the MENASA region and in Sub-Saharan Africa.In terms of composition, this collaborative group will include a very broad spectrum of expertise covering the A-Z of food production and distribution. The clear benefit of this is that the group will be able to take a ‘big-picture’ view of issues whilst also having experience in the delivery of niche solutions. The group co-coordinator Mr Anthony Coggiola is the Chief Executive Officer of C3L Associates. The firm specializes in Process, Solutions and Performance consulting opportunities. His focus is on growing revenue in emerging countries, businesses and organizations, through people, products and process improvements.
