We have been very hurt recently by people who we thought were our friends. I told the Lord I really want to forgive them and asked for his help. He asked me if I was sure. I wasnt. If I forgive, then who will hold them accountable for the suffering they caused?? Will they just carry on like nothing happened? After much anguish and soul searching I determined that I want peace. I trust God to sort it all out and its not my place or right to hold anyone accountable anyway. So I told Him I was ready and guess what? He took the anger from me and I felt peace! This is ongoing though. When someone really hurts you or your loved ones it is a battle to continuously live in a state of forgiveness. God will help but you have to choose it. Sometimes daily. This song helps me put this all into perspective. I thank GOD for this song. That is all
