We have found that we will be taking a 21.4% cut to the funding that we recieve here locally for our operating budget. These dollars help the CD Board staff someone to help promote and carry out the functions of the CD, which includes administering cost-share progams, aid the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and provide education programs to the community and local schools at no cost to them. The CD is the only agency that is locally led that is charged with protecting our natural resources, please help us to show the county commissioners that we not only need their support, but that it is imperative to conserving our natural resources.
