We have gone LIVE.... Walton and Hipkiss has developed a new website which has been in development for around 2 years. Although a lot of people very much liked our old website, Walton and Hipkiss needed to continue to further develop with new technology available today. Andrew Hipkiss, Senior Partner at Walton and Hipkiss, headed the development of the new website, to ensure we took into consideration on how people look at property and was keen on developing a website never seen before. A great deal of consideration was put into the website display, due to problems showing the information correctly on different sized screens. The new Walton and Hipkiss website, will have no problem with this issue, as a reactive screen size has been used which will automatically detect the size of your screen and adapt the functions around it. The search page displays a card of each property from the search result, which flips 180 degrees when your mouse hovers over it, or if you have a touch screen, when your finger taps on each card. Also at the same time, a map is displayed showing the location of each property from the results. The first thing you notice when you select a property, is the size of the images. We have gone BIG on sizes and we have given you 3 different ways of viewing them. The map location of each property enables you to enter any post code, which then actions the directions to the property, using Google navigation providing different ways to travel to the property from the postcode you entered. This also gives you traffic information and options to go by CAR, BUS or to WALK. The website has lots of other features youll find.
