We have great news! Deneen received a call from the police this morning that someone had turned in all of her equipment, camera, lenses, and memory card...and everything is in perfect working condition! We are thankful to WXII 12 News and Reporter David Jeannot for covering the story and helping us to get news out about this! The follow up story will air on WXII 12 tonight at 5:00. We have received many donations towards equipment from very generous fans and we are very grateful to each of you for your giving hearts. Since Deneen now has her own equipment back, we would be happy to refund any money that was donated back to the donors. Any money that is not refunded will be used to purchase two lenses for all of the Capturing Hopes volunteers to use while in the NICU. We will be buying a Nikon Macros lens and a Canon Macro lens that will work perfect for capturing the detailed close ups of NICU babies, which is very important in the type of photography we do. The cost for this equipment will be around $3000-$4000. We will keep this GoFundMe open in case anyone else would like to donate towards those lenses.
