We have had Womble 18 months now, hes settled in great with my pair of dysfunctional whippets! Unfortunately we had serious problems combatting ear infections with him :( hes been fed raw while hes here so really shouldnt have ( in theory) had many health problems. But as well as this hes had itchy and sore skin. I carefully removed possible foods he could be allergic to out of his diet to no avail. A friend suggested recently he could have an allergy to 2 or more things. Ive recently removed wheat and dairy from his diet- within 5 days his ears werent gunky ( vet didnt know why he kept getting infections but just offered steroid long term - I wanted to explore other options before we did this) and his coat is shiny and hasnt chewed himself for days! Id cut out wheat and dairy separately but never considered it could be both. Just thought Id share in case anyone is having a similar problem :) Here is Womble on guard duty :p
