We have had a successful day and are thrilled about the 236 animals we were able to sterilise, vaccinate, deworm and Frontline in Illingalethu, Malmesbury over the last month. Sterilisation is a key element in preventing cruelty to animals. Unwanted animals born as a result of indiscriminate breeding become pests in a community and thus are treated as such. A big thanks to the Director of Protection Services Mr. Philip Humphreys at the Swartland Municipality for his support and to Inspector Neville Matthys and his Law Enforcement Officers for helping us in this endeavour. Here some photos of the sweet patients we had today and spot the children who were willing to help us pack up. We had a great deal of fun with children throughout the process and we think they learnt a lot by watching us handle animals with care and love. Modelling good behaviour is everything and cannot be underestimated.
