We have had requests for the prayer that was prayed today in our services in recognition of Sanctity of Life Sunday. Below is the prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, You are the giver of life. We pray that you will capture our hearts with Your love. We pray that we would share Your passion and commitment for life. To those who gave birth this year - we celebrate with you. To those who lost a child this year – we grieve with you. To those who are in the trenches with little ones every day and wear the badge of food stains – we appreciate you. To those who experienced the loss of life through miscarriage and failed adoptions - we mourn with you. To those who long to give life and have walked through the hard path of infertility, fraught with pokes, prods, tears, and disappointment – we stand with you to have renewed hope and an impartation of Gods strength. To those who have aborted children - we remember them and you on this day and we want you to know we are here for you without any judgement. To those who have placed children up for adoption - we commend you for your selflessness and remember how you hold that child in your heart. And to those who are pregnant with new life, both expected and surprised - we rejoice with you. Dear Heavenly Father, You, who are the creator of all life, please help us to honor life as You do. Help us to stand up for anyone whose life is in danger or anyone being dishonored or endangered through abuse of any kind. In Jesus Name, Amen!
