We have had several donations come in over the last couple days from Elizabeth & Brian Clements and Carries wedding guest donations.. I will list them all in the am. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! OH MY GOSH!! SO KIND & GENEROUS of you all . A MILLION THANKS!!! Had a very busy couple of days but lots of good things happening!! Will get updated in the am when I can think straight!! Adora is still going strong.. had a little revelation today as I was offering her various food items.. and I think her teeth may be a bigger issue than I origionally thought.. While I know her issues run far deeper than her teeth, she does have liver disease ( non contagious hepatitus) I think he teeth are an underlying factor. Dr Anderson did not look that carefully at them.. she was resistant , as well my concerns about her overall health were greater than her dirty teeth, but after observing her food choicestoday ( a few crackers with peanut butter and a couple of soft chocolate chip gluten free cookies ( not ideal I do agree) , but more than she has voluntarily eaten in days .. I observed she will only consider softer items ( tried cottage cheese tonight but no interest).. so I ran my fingers along her teeth and some of the back ones are very rough & sharp. IF Dr Anderson thinks it might be safe to sedate her on Tues ( I will stay with her of course), and she will have a staff member there to ventilate.. I want him to take a good look at her teeth. to see what could also be part of her no interest in food ( if her teeth are hurting) . Both Gary & I are so in love with his little lady, we just want her to start feeling well and recover and be able to enjoy her remaining years. She is one of the sweetest little dogs ever, and I think she has endured many years of neglect for whatever reason. We just want to try to do all we can to help her along, regardless of what it takes. Please keep Adora in your thoughts and prayers!! .
