We have had some lovely summer weeks this far. We have been remodelling our kitchen (mostly Samuel ;) ) and between all the work we have tried to just enjoy the summer outside in the garden and have dear friends visiting. My parents have been here for a week just to help out with the kitchen and especially Caspian since my doctor has been really hard to me that I cant carry him (and other stuff) since my prothese is hanging on loose screws and needs to be fixed in some way... They also stayed here with dogs and Caspian so we could go by ourselves to our Chihuahua Specialty. And I think it was quite good that Caspian wasnt with us in that weather. We have had wonderful show results and are so proud of our dogs that have doing so great and showing themselves in both crazy rain and hot sun. For me it means a lot that both our oldies and new babies are doing so well that they took BIS-baby and BIS-senior at the Specialty. Also the breeders groups with their different ages and combinations means a lot. Thank you all puppy buyers and co-owners for showing our dogs and taking such good care of them. We are so grateful to you all!! Barnabys BIS was a special happy moment. Everyone who knows my trip to make this combination with his father knows how extra special he is to us. It was a journey then and his life in the show rings has also been a great journey this far. We are also so proud that his offspring has been doing so great. The BIS-baby at the Specialty is his daughter and last weekend his son Small is Beautifuls What a Mess was BOB under breed specialist Elisabeth Spillman and later BOG4 under Jussi J-p Liimatainen. At the same weekend his daughter Dreampaws Flawless Whisper ended up BIS-3 puppy under Nemanja Jovanovic at Askersund. (Breedspecialist Carina Ekwall was judging the breed). The same weekend our smoothcoat breedersgroup ended up BIS2 at Köping Int dog show. For us it was a wonderful win though all four dogs are from different combinations and they havent the same colours to look more same with. Thank you all who has congratulated us the last weeks. Because of the kitchen and life we are a bit off and not the best to respond things on Facebook/mails. And most of all big thanks to all who makes everything possible with helping us at dogshows and at home with both dogs and Caspian and showing your dogs from us. What would a breeder be without all these wonderful helping people and puppybuyers? Breeding is so much about good co-operation! This developed to be much longer than I thought... ;) Anyway! The last weekend started with Köping Int and after that we decided to just have a holiday time in Nora with my baby brother and his wife and son. Long walks with the dogs and ice cream. My sister has some stuff at a gallery (called RK gallery for everyone who likes art) that we also had time to visit. Life is many times about dogs in so many ways and it is wonderful but it is great and healthy to just enjoy other parts in life too. Here is some photos from Nora. :)
