We have had three days of comfort including hot showers,bliss. Off to an area called Diamond Head tomorrow another National Park to do a bit of fishing and walking. The photo is Murf installing a handy storage pipe to carry the fishing rods and tent poles. Poor Murf had an unfortunate moment with a fish hook but a local man showed him the art of ripping them out with a bit of string. He was very brave it was swollen for a couple of days. It frightened us into scuttling off to buy ambulance cover and a bit of insurance. Better safe than sorry and let me tell you ACC is a wonderful thing. The stories you hear over here about the cost of a short ride is truely horrific. It was so nice this morning I dashed off for a walk to the beach and have got a fine crop of blisters. It was a good long walk about eight ks return I would think. The weather is unreal at the moment in the mid twenties and perfect. Must tell you perfect red peppers $2.00 a kilo, need my preserving pan. I got into my much loved Ripe cookbook today and was inspired to make muesli. The gas oven in the caravan is very good. So now it should see us through to Western Australia so much was made. The honey here is pretty good as well, would you believe only $7.00 a kg for local bush honey. The other thing is we ran over a big black snake and it was awful, we were nervous in case he had flicked up into the car but there seemed to be a lot of stuff on the tires which we think was him. They are creepy things and there are a lot around.Will let you know how the next camp is, darlings do not be afraid to get out and try a new life.
