We have had visits with both of our little guys birth parents this past week and I have to say that I am consistently amazed at how God has blessed us with great birth parents, both or our son, but also for our daughter. It makes things so much easier when you have great relationships and feel like you can relax and breathe. We all have a common goal and a common love. Keeping sight of that makes all the difference in working together. Open adoption is hard, but so is anything worth having. Weve recently made some changes in how we were handling visitation, especially with regard to extended family. There is no manual. Were figuring it out as we go, but wouldnt trade this for anything or choose another, easier path. God wrote our story and I am amazed consistently by how He gives us all the grace to walk it out.
