We have heard Imams spreading anti-semitism just as we have heard Rabi (s) spreading Islamophobia. Both are wrong. If you open the Quran, Allah has asked Muslims to respect Moses (PBUH), Torah & allowed a muslim man to marry a Jew without ever forcing her to convert to Islam. So, anti-semitism is very much un-islamic. Having said that, are the actions of Israel in Palestine justified. Absolutely Not. Palestinian muslims are our brothers & their oppression by Israel & forceful occupation of their land by Israel is absolutely NOT acceptable. But, should we blame Jews for this or Moses (PBUH) or Torah? NO. We should not & we cannot. Judaism is to be respected by muslims just as Torah (a book of Allah) just as Moses (PBUH) a Prophet of Allah. Hate against Jews is not acceptable in Islam. Hate against Israeli leadership for their heinous war crimes is different from hate against Jews. Zionism & Judaism are two different domains. We may condemn Zionism for its atrocities in Palestine & protest against it BUT we cannot humiliate Judaism, a religion sent by Allah. Similarly, Jews must realize that Moses (PBUH) told them about the coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Thus, Moses (PBUH) had already acknowledged Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Humiliating a Prophet (PBUH) who has already been acknowledged by their own Prophet (PBUH) & has been mentioned in the Holy Torah is not acceptable. Jews may think they are very pious & God-fearing BUT by dis-respecting a Prophet (PBUH) heralded by their own Prophet (PBUH) how close do they think they will get to God.....if anything they will only get close to Gods wrath. In short, mutual respect & tolerance of two religious bodies towards each other has already been mandated by the Holy books & Prophets (PBUH) of both religions. If some of my Jewish fellows fail to do what their Prophet (PBUH) told them to do & if some of my Muslim fellows do opposite of what our Prophet (PBUH) told us to do, it is not the fault of the religion. It is the fault of that person who has prioritized his personal anger & ego over the order of his Prophet (PBUH). Jews & Muslims must UNITE today before IS pushes us all into the third world war with an impending apocalypse.
