We have horses and as such I own (outright) a 7.5 ton horse lorry. Today I tried to get insurance for it, we have had the vehicle for 3 years and never had a problem getting insurance. The same applied this year however one company would not insure the vehicle because I am a DJ. Their logic being I could use the lorry to get to a gig if my van broke down ( and also I presume the other vehicles within the family ) My logic is I would rather drive one if my cars (with the correct insurances) to the gig rather than get the kit shit high in horse crap. In fact I would be more tempted to use the lorry if my car broke down if I worked at Tesco as I would have nothing to get dirty and Tesco car park is a lot bigger and easier to get to than most of the venues in Devon. Go figure !
