We have invited 50 children to a holiday party in mid-December. Twenty of these children are living in a local transitional shelter for single mothers and range in age from 1 - 6 years. We have also invited the children who come for the Dining with Dignity lunches on Saturdays at St. Marks. We are seeing whole families attending these lunches. We are hoping that you will generously support our efforts to give each child a toy ($10) this holiday. If you prefer, you may send a donation to me or donate at keepthefaithinfrankford.org We are a 501(c)(3) public charity so all donations are tax-deductible. (We have already collected twin sheet sets for the Moms at the shelter.) This is what we still need (we have enough games; we need hands-on toys for the children): 15 toys for children 1-3 years old (6 boys and 9 girls) 10 toys for children 4 - 6 years old (5 boys and 5 girls) 6 toys for children 8-12 years old (3 boys and 3 girls) Two regulation size basketballs (29.5 inches) One arts and crafts set for an 11 year old boy who loves to draw We have already collected 14 toys and we would like to have enough toys to give the children a choice and to be able to accomodate any children who may come unexpectedly.
