We have just received word of an incident in Morrisville. At this time, the alleged perpetrator has not been apprehended by law enforcement. We have been in touch with the Superintendents office and have been advised to put the school into our secure the School mode, more commonly known as Lock down to the public. All children are inside the building and safe in their classrooms. Classes are continuing as normally as possible. All school doors are locked and we are not accepting visitors into the building at the moment. We will update you as soon as we know more information. We are not going to dismiss students until we hear from law enforcement and the central office that it is safe to do so. At this time, all students are still safe in their classrooms. We are not allowing anyone to enter or exit the building. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work with our school and law enforcement partners to make sure we keep every HPES student safe.
