We have not spent a lot of time posting because mom is working a lot right now. But also because we live in St. Louis county very close to the violence you are watching on television. Its a sad time for our community and it is riddled with fear and despair. We love our city and dont like what is happening and each day it escalates more and more. Hate groups from all over are now descending on an already angry part of my city to spew more hate and increase the tensions that are running on overdrive. None of their actions will bring peace. No amount of hatred and violence will change what has already been done. Terrorizing and entire population for headlines will only bring more violence and shame to those that arent even involved. We need prayers for a peaceful end to the atrocities and a show of unity regardless of which line you stand on is imperative to ending this conflict without further loss of life. Please keep our community in your prayers and please stay vigilant and safe if you live here. We are a peaceful community under normal circumstances and I promise you that our community is NOT the headline grabbing most unsafe city in America. I live here. I know my people. We are all about giving back and holding your hand and standing the gap when a friend needs us, even if we have only met you. Please remember us in your thoughts and prayers.
