We have our TICA show every year, and apparently we are either in a difficult city or in a difficult part of the city because our gate is never more then 100 or so people. I am reaching out to other show managers to share some ideas on how to advertise and how to draw gate. We have a list every year where people can sign up with their email addresses so we send them an invitation. We send flyers and mini posters to all the local vets, we put adds in community boards and local newspapers, we notify and invite tv and radio stations (but never get a response) and we cross promote with the local rescue that comes to our show every year. I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has any experience with this and get new and fresh ideas on how to advertise our TICA shows and draw gate!
