We have people all around us who are lost & broken and professing Christians are busy talking about finances, success, prosperity, blessings, self help, marriages, and relationships. This is not the gospel! In its proper context its okay to talk about other areas of the Christian faith but the foundation should ALWAYS be the gospel! The message of the gospel centers around Jesus Christ NOT us. It tells us the way that man can be forgiven of our sins, reconciled to God, and have eternal life. The gospel changes lives and gives hope! If we truly believed that gospel was good news to us, wed be burning trying to share it with everyone. Are we not spreading the gospel because were ashamed? scared to be persecuted? want people to like us? want followers? or we just dont care about the lost? If we as believers TRULY believed that everyone on this earth who dies without Christ will spend an eternity in hell then this should compel us all to spread the gospel with urgency! We cannot worry about our reputation or who wont like us, let Gods love and boldness flow through us and preach Christ crucified to all! {1 Corinthians 9:16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel.} #Unashamed #HighHeelsAndHighStandards
