We have probably tried just about everything to escape our slavery to destructive habits. I understood how foolish it was to look for help from anything or anyone else but God. One by one, I brought my needs daily to God. I understood that God would not accept the prayers of one who was trusting in himself and continuing in my sin. When we trust God for help in our moment by moment walk of obedience, His wall of protection surrounds us wherever we go and whatever we do. I requested Gods guidance because I knew that Gods plan for me was the only way to avoid the destructive traps I faced. Our old friends, will tell us the big lie, that one more sin wont hurt us. Their words sound good, but their lives prove that they are slaves to sin and that they are headed for destruction. In the midst of these snares of the world, we can always find protection by trusting God. I kept, running away denying God. Only to end up face to face with Him. His kind gentle guidance pushed me back on track. God I am so grateful for your love. You know my heart. I believe that is the reason for my return to you instead of my destruction. Words could never show how I feel about you. Only the tears. Thank you I love you. Amen....
