We have received many calls about the Chambers perspective on the Ferguson ruling and response here in Oakland. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Michael Brown, and families like theirs everywhere, including here in Oakland. We fully support their request to honor their son with peaceful protest. Violence is not the answer, and those that choose to use this as an excuse for disruption, vandalism, and destruction of property should be stopped. Such actions only harm Oakland and the many businesses trying to support our local economy and employ our residents. Lets get back to making a difference. bit.ly/1AKLe44
