We have received over 13,000 donated bikes from our local communities, then sent them to developing communities in Africa. Every once in a while we receive a very special bike. Here is a note from the former owner of one very special donated bike. Im going to donate my special bike to your foundation. Special, because I experienced a lot with it. Im from Germany and at Germany right now, but just a couple weeks ago I arrived here in Germany after spending three months in the United States, riding my bike, which I brought from Germany, from Miami, FL to San Francisco, CA. After I finished my trip, I decided to donate it, first I thought about giving it to a homeless person on the street but then friend of mine in SF took the bike and will now bring it to you!! Its a wonderful foundation you got there!!! I love it and I want to support it with my old bike. Its not a special or expensive bike buts its special because of the history though. - Raphael Kammann
