We have received several calls in the last few days requesting to spray the bees that people have swarming their hollies and other early flowering shrubs. Although there are times that spraying cannot be helped, we take our stewardship of the landscape very seriously. Colonies of pollinating bees are on the decline, & when they are gone, so is the majority of our food crops. I have included a link to a simple, yet informative PDF document. The greater the number of people who educate themselves, the higher the likelihood that we survive a little while longer. Although I could probably miss a few meals, I would prefer not to miss several years worth. - BY
