We have returned from spending 2 weeks in China and enjoyed the following cities; Guangzhou, Beijing; Xi’an; Suzhou; Hangzhou; Wuxi and Shanghai. In more than 40 years of travelling I have to say China overall is the most beautiful country. China’s natural beauty can be seen from its majestic mountains, picturesque countrysides, rivers, and ancient historical sites to the present day colorful modern areas. China’s incredibly manicured landscape and numerous gardens are far beyond what I have previously experienced. The highways, freeways and streets are very clean, free of potholes, and decorated with beautiful flowers, rosebushes, vegetation, and manicured trees etcetera. Although we were in a communist country I never felt any restrictions and/or infringement upon my freedom whatsoever. Nevertheless, I am very glad to be home recovering from the difference in time zone AND the 24,800 miles that we traveled. Hungry for a Carne Asada Burrito!
