We have seen a big increase in-store and in our clinic of cold and flu symptoms. It starts with swollen glands, then a headache and tickly & sore throat. And then if not treated, descends into the chest. We use immune stimulants in an acute dose to address this virus quickly. Andrographis paniculata or Andro for short, is my number one immune herb and I personally get amazing results with it. Andrographis is an Ayurvedic (traditional Indian) herb which has a long history of use for bacterial and viral infections. It is useful for both treating and preventing viral illnesses by supporting immune resistance. In clinical trials, 6g of andrographis daily during colds has been found to be as effective as standard pharmaceutical antipyretic treatment for relieving sore throat and fever. And when compared to a placebo, andrographis significantly reduces the overall symptoms and length of respiratory tract infections.
