We have selected a dog to foster and are anxiously waiting for him to arrive! We are working with LifeLine Animal Project. I believe this is the perfect option for people who love dogs but are not ready to or cannot provide a permanent home. Also, many people suffer from depression and loneliness during the holidays. Caring for an animal is a wonderful way to avoid the winter blues! Below is some information from their website. Become A Foster Parent LifeLine Animal Project strives to provide our feline and canine friends the best possible environment until the they can be placed in loving, forever homes. Our Kitty Motel residents enjoy a cage-free temporary home with plenty of climbing areas for adventurous cats and hiding places for shy kitties. LifeLines Dog House is a safe, fun, and loving environment where dogs have plenty of outdoor group playtime as well as individual care. However, we have cats and dogs that would benefit from a foster home environment. Some have special needs or diet concerns, while others may just need some extra socialization. LifeLine provides all veterinary care, food, and supplies as needed for animals in foster homes. The cats and dogs just ask for your love and attention in return. Some will only need short-term care while others may need a longer period. If you are interested in fostering one of our wonderful cats or dogs, please email [email protected].
