We have several sick kitties at the vet right now that are being medically boarded - requiring around the clock care. Please help if you can. Midnight momma and her 3 babies. We were asked to help with rescue after she was found on a farm with two orange babies and a black baby. Sadly, one of the orange babies has a ruptured eye and will require surgery, but only after he is big enough. Midnight and all of her babies are still with Dr. Baranik. Evie is a stray rescued by a good samaritan. She is a young Seal Point Siamese, but had such bad diarrhea, it was like nasty brown liquid pouring out of here. She is still at Baranik Animal Care. Chyna (now MiMi) is a sweet little Snowshoe that we rescued from Wakulla AC in Florida. A couple of days after rescue, she started to feel bad and stopped eating and drinking. Dr. B thinks it is some sort of virus, but we are not sure. She has started to eat a little, but is still with Baranik for medical watch. Bailey (now Sidney) is a very frightened little Lynx Point boy who was labeled semi-feral at the shelter. Sadly, he is not semi-feral, he was injured. He has been examined and has had x-rays. He has an old injury to his left front elbow, and he will not use the foot. He has an appointment at North Georgia Veterinary Specialists on Friday and we hope to possibly schedule him for surgery if they feel his foot can be straightened out. Our vet bills are extrenmely high with all of the special needs kitties we have taken in, all the pregnant moms, and lots of kittens.
