We have so many homeless people living here in the USA. In the past I have volunteered at the Missions in L.A., standing next to movie stars like Charlton Heston, and many others to serve food to the homeless for Thanksgiving (the day before). We need to take of our own people who have lost their jobs, their homes, their self-esteem. Some had been executives of companies, but were now homeless, because of down-sizing, plants being shut down and moving out of state, divorced from their wives or husbands because of the loss of everything they owned at one point. I have talked with many homeless people, heard their stories, but some were living on skid row. Many on skid row had alot in the past, and I can always tell by their proper verbage that they are not the ordinary street people just surviving on skid row, but are now homeless, just coming in for a meal. So very sad that we take care of people overseas, but not those who are our USA ciizens who are now homeless because of unfortunate circumstances. It makes me sick that we are not helping our own poor citizens. --not the illegals who are here .
