We have some exciting news! We have our final adoption of 2014! Henry (fka Chewie) has been adopted by my wonderful grandma! I took him home to Dallas with me for the holidays after his surgery and she came to visit us and it was love at first sight! She has been there with him every step of the way during his recovery and we can not separate them now. He is flying back to Florida with her this morning and will continue his recovery there under her watchful eye. He will see a veterinarian there to remove the pin in his elbow and to continue his heartworm treatment. He has a fur sibling at home that he will get to play with once he has recovered and I know he will love the retired life in sunny Florida. My grandma has already promised to send lots of photos to keep us updated on how he does and she will bring him back to visit! We could not be happier for this sweet boy! He was most likely thrown out of a car window and left to die on the streets and now is traveling halfway across the country to his forever home where he will be so spoiled and loved!
